Being new to Delaware, I have been to several different salons in the Wilmington area and left them all feeling disappointed with my hair, the service, and overall atmosphere, not to mention the cost.
Never feeling comfortable or confident in any of them, I continued my search and after reading the online reviews, thought I would give Salon 828 a call. I spoke with Don to make my appointment and he was so friendly and professional which left me with a good feeling from the get go.
Kate was my stylist and I came to her asking for a drastic change that involved cutting most of my hair off. She listened and asked questions and gave me a thorough consultation. Being a Stay at Home Mom of a 2year old, my hairstyle consisted mostly of a slicked back ponytail. Kate did an AMAZING job on my color and cut and gave me the look that I was going for only better. My new hairstyle truly inspires me to take a little extra time for myself and hair, making me a happier more confident person!
The look of the salon is fresh and upscale. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon and their talented staff. I have finally found a place where I feel welcomed, comfortable and leave feeling pampered and beautiful. I encourage anyone looking for a new salon to call their own to give this salon a chance. You won't go anywhere else once you've visited them. They are a high end salon without the "high end attitude".
